Plain-language, no hindsight
What gets recorded
When the public scanner shows an EdgeRow, FinEdg stores the asset, its market regime, the best-fit strategy, the Edge score, Confidence and the risk gate — the read exactly as it was shown. It does not store any prediction of price; only the conditions at that moment.
What happens after 1d / 3d / 7d
At each horizon the book measures the realised move from the observation forward and marks that outcome completed. Outcomes are out-of-sample by construction: they are judged only against data that arrived after the snapshot, never re-fitted.
Why the status is demo right now
The book is young: observations exist but few or no horizons have completed yet. With nothing measured out-of-sample, the only honest label is demo. Status improves on its own as real outcomes accumulate — it is never set by hand.
Research-only, paper-first
FinEdg is a research and decision-support surface. Statuses are evidence-review states, not instructions to act. There is no order placement and no live execution anywhere in FinEdg.
