FIN·EDGFinancial Edge Engine Scanner Risk

How FinEdg works

FinEdg is a multi-asset Market Edge Engine — a research and decision-support tool. It explains where a market currently fits a strategy and how trustworthy that read is.

Research and decision support only — not financial advice. FinEdg gives no recommendations, holds no funds, and has no live execution or broker connection.

Edge

Strategy fit, not a prediction

Edge is a 0–100 read of how strongly the current market regime favours a strategy family — trend, grid, breakout or range — for an asset. It is a fit score, not a probability, a price target, or a forecast.

A high Edge means conditions suit a strategy right now. It never stands alone: it is always paired with Confidence and an evidence status so you can judge how far to trust it.

Confidence

Confidence is not accuracy

Confidence is how much weight to put on an Edge read. It is built from Data Quality, Signal Agreement, Model Confidence and Backtest Coverage.

It is not a win rate and not an accuracy claim. A high Edge with low Confidence — or weak evidence — is a caution, not a conclusion.

Evidence status

Honest by default

Every read carries an evidence status, shown as text (never colour alone):

demoillustrative placeholder, not live data unprovena real read, not yet validated out-of-sample proof-gatedvalidated enough to study further, still research-only refutedtested and did not hold — shown, never offered

Refuted reads are never hidden and are never presented as opportunities. Public FinEdg shows research statuses only.

Paper-first

Paper Mode comes first

Every action path starts in Paper Mode — no real capital, no order placement, no broker connection. It is a research sandbox to study how a setup would behave.

FinEdg never places or executes anything for you. There is no live execution and no exchange-key setup inside FinEdg.

Risk gate

“Skip” is a valid output

Each read carries a risk gate before you act on any Edge:

Lowcalmer conditions Mediumact with care Highstop and think

A High gate is a stop-and-think marker, and Skip is a common, valid output. FinEdg surfaces risk; it does not remove market risk.

About FinEdg methodology

FinEdg is operated as a research and decision-support surface built on the Tvijo AIOS engine. Scores are engineering metrics, not advice. Markets carry risk and you are responsible for your own decisions.
